1 Lorelei Loveless Weaving Southwest

Teal and Gray, original handwoven rug by Lorelei Loveless, 100% hand-dyed and natural Churro Wool, 75″ x 34.5″, 2015

Notes on this piece…

This is one of my favorite pieces of my moms. I love her use of the natural colors of the Churro, with the Teal (the only dyed color)… all laid out in beautifully simple stripes!

Lorelei hand-dyes all of her yarn.

You can see Lorelei’s current work here.

Enjoy!

1 Jerri Hogue Weaving Southwest

Arroyo Seco, original handwoven tapestry by Jerris Hogue, hand-dyed Churro wool, 30″ x 73″, 2015

Notes on this piece…

Let’s welcome Jerris Hogue to The Daily Dose… and to our gallery! He is one of our newest artists and we couldn’t be happier to have him!

Jerris wove this piece with our Medium Weight Churro Yarn. This is honestly one of his “simpler” pieces… you will know what I mean when you see his next tapestry! 🙂

You can view more of Jerris’ current work here.

1 Connie Enzmann-Forneris Weaving Southwest

Elysian Fields, original handwoven wallhanging by Connie Enzmann-Forneris, hand-dyed wool, 17″x55″

Notes on this piece…

The first time I laid my eyes (and hands) on this piece, I was in love. The simplicity of the design, coupled with the different textures (of both the weave structures and the different types of yarns used) make this piece stand out from a mile away.

Connie hand-dyes all of her yarns.

You can view more of Connie’s current work here.

Enjoy!
