2-ply wool warp, natural brown Churro wool (background) Churro club yarn red, green, gold (I do not remember names) – lined with duck (canvas) cloth. Cotton strap, carved deer horn bone buttons. Schadt table loom.

Techniques used: double weave – weft faced pattern of my own design

 

“I have made double weave purses in the past. I decided to take my new love of weft-faced (southwestern influenced) weaving and apply the weaving techniques to my double weave purse pattern. The natural colors and bone buttons complete the feel.” – Elizabeth
