It has been a great year of classes, so far. We are always inspired by our students and want to share some of that inspiration with you. Some of these students were experienced weavers, some had taken a class with us, many of them had never touched a loom before!
Enjoy!

PS I’m sure they would all love to hear what you think of their work! Leave a comment and I will make sure they see it! (The comment link is at the top of this post.)
All the pieces are beautiful. So much that can be learned from studying them. Choices of colors used are so varied and individual designs are interesting. Good job to all the participants of the classes!
Agreed, Traudi!
Over the last several years of teaching, there has always been one thing that holds true when students pick out colors. I’ll tell you all about this funny phenomenon in class!

I love them all! And the colors! Are. Absolutely. Gorgeous. Every time I look at something new on your website, I think, hmmmm I like that. I’ll copy that next time. It never happens! Because the next time there’s something new! One of the hardest things for me to learn is keeping my selveges straight. Boy, do those rugs have them straight! Great work! Love it.
Practice, practice, practice, Kantu! 🙂
Selvedges are tricky and take a lot of weaving to prefect.
Glad you like all the posts!

Wow such great work and nice sized pieces. I have been working with too fine a yarn too long!
Thank you, Janie!
A nice thick Rug Yarn can be so nice to weave with. The sense of achievement one feels when they pull off a rug in a day or two is so satisfying!
