When Kathy joined us at Springwild, I proposed the idea of working with building techniques to produce curves. Knowing Kathy’s love of straight edges, I was a little nervous to do this. Building techniques, done for the first time or two, can result in some wonky selvedges and various other issues… and I really wanted her to love what she pulled off the loom during the retreat.

She accepted the challenge! During our time together, Kathy explored these new techniques (with great precision), inspired by the views from her loom (pictures below).
