Materials in detail…

Weft: Natural gray churro wool background and a green colored churro wool yarn (the first month’s box).

Warp: 2-Ply Worsted Wool Warp

Notes on this piece…

“The inspiration behind the piece (or set of placemats) is the idea of creating something utilitarian but also unique. I have always woven cotton placemats, so it was time to create a pattern for some wool placemats. After I received the first box, I wanted to buy some more of that month’s colors. However, I had to have some sort of plan to use it. Hence, this is why I got the idea of weaving some placemats out of wool. I love the Churro Club because it is like receiving a present every month! It is always full of surprises and helps sustain my yarn addiction.

I would highly recommend joining the “Weaving Southwest’s Mutual Admiration Society.” It is a great place to ask questions and receive encouragement.” – Elizabeth Wood

    • Hi Stephanie!

Hmmm. That is strange. I think there may be a glitch in our system. You are in there and it says you are signed up, but it doesn’t look like you have been sent any Daily Doses. I am going to email you to try to figure this out.
